Let's Collaborate!
Styled Shoot Collaboration Guidelines
We truly enjoy collaborating with talented local vendors and connecting with new wedding professionals to recommend to our brides! Styled shoots that align with our values and inspire us creatively are a joy to participate in. While the beautiful photos are always a wonderful takeaway, we believe the real value lies in the connections we make and the relationships we build in our community.
Before we move forward with a collaboration, here are a few important things to know:
Model Requirements & Fittings
Our first question when receiving a styled shoot inquiry is always: Do you have a model?
Because we are a consignment boutique, our gown availability varies. To help keep gowns clean—especially the hem—we strongly prefer models who are at least 5’7″ or taller.
We require a model fitting at our shop during normal business hours the week before the shoot. Bridal sizing is unique and measurements alone won’t guarantee a good fit. We also like to hand-select a gown that not only fits the model but also reflects our brand and vision.
Bridal Styling, Exclusivity & Representation
At Astraea Bridal, bridal styling is central to our brand identity, and we care deeply about ensuring every detail reflects our quality standards and creative vision. Because of this:
We ask to be the exclusive bridal shop featured in any styled shoot we participate in.
All accessories (veils, jewelry, shoes, etc.) must be approved by our team in advance.
While we appreciate resourcefulness, mass-market or fast fashion accessories—especially from retailers like Amazon—do not align with our aesthetic. We’re always happy to help guide or provide bridal styling elements that elevate the overall look.
When possible, an Astraea Bridal representative may attend the shoot. This helps ensure the gown is styled and handled correctly, and also gives us a chance to connect with fellow creatives. While attendance depends on availability, we always value the opportunity to support our vendor community in person.
Dress Care & Responsibility
Our gowns are consigned, meaning they do not belong to Astraea Bridal and are intended for future brides. Because of this, the gown must be returned in the same condition in which it left the shop.
To help protect the gown:
Models should lift the skirt and train while walking.
Hair & makeup artists should avoid heavy makeup on the model’s chest and absolutely no spray tans.
Borrowing Fee & Return Policy
There is a $100 gown fee required to borrow a dress for a styled shoot. This helps cover cleaning, preparation, and the time we invest in fittings and coordination.
Before the gown is released, a credit card will be kept on file. When the gown is returned, a team member will inspect it. If any cleaning or repair is required, additional fees will be charged—this can be up to 50% of the gown’s value, depending on the extent of damage.
All gowns must be returned within 48 hours of the shoot. It is the borrower’s responsibility to arrange timely drop-off during business hours.
When the gown appears in any photo posted online—including Instagram, Facebook, blogs, or websites—it is required that you tag us appropriately as:

If the gown is not featured in a specific photo, no tag is needed.
