Let's Collaborate!
Styled Shoot & Open House Collaboration Guidelines
We truly enjoy collaborating with talented local vendors and connecting with new wedding professionals to recommend to our brides! Styled shoots that align with our values and inspire us creatively are a joy to participate in. While the beautiful photos are always a wonderful takeaway, we believe the real value lies in the connections we make and the relationships we build in our community.
Before we move forward with a collaboration, here are a few important things to know:
Model Requirements & Fittings (Styled Shoots)
Our first question when receiving a styled shoot inquiry is always: Do you have a model? Because we are a consignment boutique, gown availability varies. To help keep gown(s) clean—especially the hem—we strongly prefer models who are at least 5’7″ or taller.
A fitting at our shop is required the week before the shoot.
Bridal sizing is unique, and we like to hand-select gown(s) that not only fit the model but also reflect our brand and vision.
Bridal Styling, Exclusivity & Representation
At Astraea Bridal, bridal styling is central to our brand identity, and we care deeply about ensuring every detail reflects our quality standards and creative vision. Because of this:
We ask to be the exclusive bridal shop featured in any styled shoot we participate in.
All accessories (veils, jewelry, shoes, etc.) must be approved by our team in advance.
While we appreciate resourcefulness, mass-market or fast-fashion accessories—especially from retailers like Amazon—do not align with our aesthetic.
When possible, an Astraea Bridal representative may attend the shoot to ensure the gown(s) are styled and handled correctly.
Dress Care & Responsibility
Our gown(s) are consigned, meaning they do not belong to Astraea Bridal and are intended for future brides. Because of this, gown(s) must be returned in the same condition they left the shop.
To help protect the gown(s):
Models should lift the skirt and train while walking.
Hair & makeup artists should avoid heavy makeup on the bodice, and absolutely no spray tans are permitted.
Borrowing Fee & Return Policy
There is a $100 gown fee required to borrow gown(s) for a styled shoot. This covers cleaning, preparation, and fitting coordination.
A credit card will be kept on file prior to release. Upon return, gown(s) will be inspected, and cleaning/repair fees may apply (up to 50% of retail value).
All gown(s) must be returned within 48 hours of the shoot during business hours.
Open House & Wedding-Related Events
We also love partnering with venues and wedding professionals to provide gown(s) for open house displays and wedding-related promotional events. These events allow couples to see Astraea Bridal’s gowns up close and connect with our unique bridal experience.
Guidelines for Open Houses
Gown(s) are for display purposes only and may not be worn or tried on.
They must remain in the display location at all times.
Borrowers are responsible for keeping gown(s) clean, dry, and smoke-free.
Any damage or staining will result in cleaning, repair, or replacement fees (up to 50% of retail value).
Fees & Returns
Display borrowing fees may be waived or adjusted at Astraea Bridal’s discretion.
Gown(s) must be returned within 48 hours of the event during business hours.
Whenever gown(s) appear in photos—whether from styled shoots or open houses—please tag us in any online postings, including Instagram, Facebook, blogs, or websites:
