Astraea Bridal was born from a shared belief: finding your wedding dress should feel just as meaningful as wearing it. Together, we set out to create the kind of bridal boutique we wished existed. One that blends exceptional style with genuine connection, thoughtful guidance, and a commitment to doing things differently. Every gown we curate, every detail of our boutique, and every bride we welcome reflects the values that inspired Astraea from the very beginning.
Before Astraea Bridal, we were coworkers at another bridal boutique. From the very first day we met, we clicked. What started as conversations between appointments quickly turned into a friendship built on shared values—a love for the outdoors, a passion for sustainability, and a belief that the bridal industry could be so much more.
Working together, we saw firsthand the joy of helping brides find their dress, but we also saw opportunities to do things differently. We dreamed of creating a boutique where every bride felt genuinely cared for, where sustainability wasn't an afterthought, and where beautiful gowns could have more than one story to tell.
Eventually, that dream became too big to ignore. We left the security of our corporate careers, took a leap of faith, and built Astraea Bridal from the ground up. It wasn't because we thought it would be easy—it was because we believed it would be worth it.
Today, Astraea is everything we hoped it would become: a thoughtfully curated bridal boutique where connection comes first, beautiful gowns find new beginnings, and every bride is welcomed like she's exactly where she's meant to be.
A few of my favorite things
I’ve always believed in two things: caring for our planet and helping women feel beautiful. Growing up in Southern California, my family lived by the motto, “Leave it cleaner than you found it,” whether we were at the beach or camping in the mountains, and that value has stayed with me ever since. After falling in love with the Pacific Northwest during my first visit in 2007, I made Western Washington home in 2015 and continued my career in bridal, helping brides find the gown that makes them feel confident, radiant, and truly themselves. Today, I balance that passion with my role behind the scenes as Astraea’s Chief Financial Officer and Director of Consignments & Inventory, managing our finances, cultivating relationships with partner boutiques and consignors, curating our ever-changing inventory, and ensuring every consignment check makes its way home. Being part of Astraea allows me to combine my love for sustainability with the joy of celebrating life's biggest moments, and I couldn't imagine doing anything else.

Originally from Arizona, I made my way to the Pacific Northwest in 2011, the same year I unexpectedly fell in love with the bridal industry. What started as a side job while studying Anthropology at Western Washington University quickly became a career I couldn't imagine leaving. My favorite part of every appointment is hearing your wedding plans—whether you're envisioning something timeless and romantic or planning a full-on space cat galaxy celebration—and helping you reach that moment when you look in the mirror and realize you don't need to change a thing. When I'm not styling brides, you'll usually find me behind the scenes leading Astraea's marketing, creating content, managing our website, or serving as Vice President of the North Sound Wedding Collective, where I love supporting and collaborating with our local wedding community. Above all, I strive to bring experience, calm guidance, and plenty of laughter to every bride's journey.

When we first stepped into the space that would become Astraea Bridal, we didn't see what it was, we saw what it could be. We had a vision for a boutique that felt inclusive, beautiful, and completely unlike anything else. The only problem? We had to build it ourselves.
Neither of us came into this knowing everything about power tools or exactly what we were doing. We learned as we went, spent countless hours covered in paint, and figured out each project one decision at a time. There were plenty of moments where we looked at each other and thought, "Are we sure we know how to do this?" But somehow, we always figured it out.
Today, when we look around Astraea, we don't just see the floors, fixtures, and details we built—we see every challenge we overcame, every lesson we learned, and every bride who has filled this space with joy. And we wouldn't trade the journey for anything.
