I always knew that I didn’t want to spend an astronomical amount on a wedding dress. But I also did not want to settle on something that I didn’t LOVE. On a whim, I called Laura and asked if they had an appointment available on Monday morning. To my surprise they did! So, my Mom and I decided to go down with a plan of just to look and get the first dress trying over with no intentions on purchasing anything thy day. Boy was I wrong!
I walked into Astraea Bridal with my Grandma‘s wedding pearls in hand and was greeted by Laura right away. You can defiantly tell that she loves was she does. Laura was like that best friend in there helping you. Which worked out great for me since my maid of honor was in California.
The nice thing about going to a smaller store is you’re not overwhelmed with dresses. She picked out a few to try on so we could get a feel for what I wanted. The second dress I tried on was my ACTUAL Pinterest dress. The one that I had had pinned for the last five years! I was overwhelmed that I was able to get this dress for such a reasonable price. But then she when she placed this long Turkish veil on that she had just received I knew I was done dress shopping. It was everything I wanted and more! I was even able to find a beautiful pearl hair pin that received many compliments.
My next few visits with Kristin at The Town Seamstress went just as smooth. She added the most beautiful lace to fall off my shoulder to help cover my arms which I don’t like to bare. I’m so glad I went to Astraea Bridal! It truly was the best experience and helped my wedding planning go a little smoother.
Thanks girls!
